Currently: Associate digital editor, history, at Smithsonian magazine. Previously: Assistant digital editor, humanities, at Smithsonian.

I’ve written about everything from Mary, Queen of Scots, to crime scene cleaners, medieval murder maps, dollhouse crime scenes and student mental health.

Based in Washington, D.C. William & Mary/University of St Andrews alumna. Font aficionado. World War II buff. Renaissance and modern art lover. Dog mom. Interested in museums, magazines, data visualization and historical non-fiction.
